Mustering up a little somethin, somethin

HEY!

I just got back from my very first Gympie Music Muster! And although I'm most definitely going to need a massage after sleeping on bed thinner than my student bank balance, it was just so wonderfully amazing! How did I make it 20 years without setting foot in the Muster? It's a riddle we will never solve I suppose. Here's what losing my muster-ginity was like y'all

We packed up my little car with a million blankets and boots, slammed the doors quickly so those extra snacks I packed wouldn't topple out and headed off to Gympie. My drive was filled with many "Hayley, what is the speed limit here?", "Watch your speed", "WELL it looks like you're doing more than that" and "Stop changing the songs and focus on driving". We made it to Amamoor Forest and started breathing in that lovely dust! I had a quick practise with the band for my Talent Search Semi Final and then rugged up (I wore two pairs of gloves & three pairs of socks one night, I reeeeally feel the cold) and headed to the Muster Club to watch Christie Lamb. While we were there we met up with my super lovely friends Tracey & Darren Robinson (Tracey & The Big D) and the introduced me to Jared Porter. Who very nicely let me sing a song with him there the next day!!!!!!! (WHAT!?).

Saturday morning I had my heat in the Talent search semi-finals, well I think sucking in all the dust might've gotten to me because my voice decided to kook it and as upsetting as that was, I have to remind myself, I played the main stage of the Muster, my first Muster, that's not too shabby. The Gympie Muster is by far one of the most amazing festivals I've ever been too, the whole experience, even the camp showers. I got to see so many amazing acts and discover new ones! So I'm officially changing my status from muster virgin to muster regular!

P.S thank you so very much to all the people who wished me good luck this past weekend, your kind words and support are amazing and I love you!

I recall the day when I was an understudy and there was no opposition around then. Today, understudies are exceptionally occupied in their life and don't have sufficient energy to play. I think it is critical assignmentgeek.com.au service save time for amusements and sports as this will assist them with refreshing their body and brain.
