Hi, I’m Hayley! I’ve released 3 EP’s, an album and various singles totally independently over the last 7 years.

In my short and busy career, I have been nominated for a Golden Guitar for Alt-Country Album of the Year (2020) and Country Work of the Year at The Queensland Music Awards, had one #1 and 3 top 10 singles, my music has been played on Commercial radio, Double J, ABC and various country and community stations. To date my debut album has been streamed over half a million times on Spotify and added to New Music Friday and Fresh Country as well as various editorial playlists on Apple Music.

As well as the on the job experience I have collected from my triumphs and mistakes I also have a Bachelor of Creative Industries in Music and Entertainment Industries and I have attended multiple professional development courses in digital marketing, song-writing, publicity and social media.

I know what it’s like to be releasing your first song because it wasn’t that long ago that I was. I understand how overwhelming it can be planning a release and how much you want it to be as successful as possible. So that’s where I come in, I can help you plan your early releases, mentor you on your digital strategy, graphic design for social skins, help you with writing a bio or press release, basically the person I wish I had mentoring me when I was starting out.

Release Planning Management

3x 1 hour sessions in person or online. Firstly to chat about your initial goals for the release, any major questions or worries about the release. Our second chat will be mid way through your plan, to flag any potential issues and adjust strategy if needed. And finally post release to chat about what’s next and how to capitalise on the success of your release.

A detailed planning checklist for everything you need to organise, broken down into what needs to be achieved 2 months out, 1 month, release week etc.

I can also mentor in writing your own press release and bio, creating the graphic design for your socials, Instagram filters and video content. Or I can take over these fully for an additional fee.

Additional Creation Options

Instagram filters: I can create Instagram filters specifically for your song, with your artwork, song or branding included. I have created two for my own song ‘Pretty’ that you can check out and try by searching @hayleymarsten. Starting from $200 AUD depending on concept.

Social media graphics: I have created all of my social media content. From cover photos across Facebook, YouTube and Spotify, Instagram sized promo and Instagram story content. I am competent in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and use them both for content creation. Starting from $100 AUD depending on concept and quantity.

Video content: I produced and edited my last music video, ‘Pretty’ and have also created video content specifically for Instagram stories, grid and reels. I am competent in Adobe Premiere Pro and use it for all my projects. Starting from $150 AUD depending on concept, format, time needed for editing etc.
